Jörnträhus is just a little part - there is so much more.
Some of us say Jörnträ and some of us says Jörnträhus, but it is just the same company. Within the company we use these names depending on which part of the company we are talking about.
Jörnträhus is so much more then the houses which the most people sometimes have seen. You might even live in one of our houses yourself?
Making components
Apart from the houses we are making a lots of components to other companys for example window-manufacturers. We also selling a lot of planed wood. Much of this goes on export to Norway. This part of the company is runned by Stellan, one of the owners.
Per Eriksson is head of the business with houses.
The company started in 1930 and it is a family company. Today the company is owned by the two brothers Per and Stellan Eriksson. A third partner in the company is Gösta Bergström, also from Jörn.
Our houses
In the 1960´s the company started design & build beautifully crafted log cabins built to the highest construction standards in using only locally sourced materials. The company has a great line of products, with garden sheds, cabins, loftcabins, houses, garages mm. Each cabin is individually packed into kits containing all the necessary parts and instructions.
The hauss about our products is fantastic and we are very glad that more and more people discover our houses. The rawmaterial we use is with the highest quality and that´s a big part of why we never have any problems with our products.
We also produce almost everything ourselves that goes with our houses which make the control very massive.
